As like any profession, there will always be the pros and cons. Not even limited to professions but life, life will have pros and cons, and when I look at becoming a teacher I can see many pros and many cons. I really enjoy the opportunity to potentially experience the pros of this profession, why as I chose this major, because I cannot wait to be in a school and have a classroom, establish relationships, become a coach, become a leader of many, but, there are many cons and I believe I have heard all of them. Growing up with a mother who is a teacher, I have never gone multiple days without being told not to be a teacher, from her or her colleagues. They love to lecture me on the cons of the profession but ultimately the only reason I’m concerned about becoming a teacher, even after hearing the bad stories of what happens, is the money. No man wakes up and thinks to himself that he does not want to provide for his family, so, hopefully one day within this profession I can find the money to be able to support a family of my own one day down the road.
